This week has hell for me. I got sick and am slowly recovering. I contemplated coming into to train today but I was afraid my neck would snap the moment I stepped in the ring to spar. This sucks. I figure it's best to just rest and come in tomorrow. I've had some sort of viral infection and the doctor says it's best to just sweat it out.
I'm pretty amped about week 8. I know it's going to be tough. I just need to get better and give it all that I got. I've lost so much weight over these past couple of weeks and I don't want to f@#k it up by not resting.

Week 7...Speed...resting
My body aches, I'm getting a slight cold and I feel like I have no energy at all. Why? My body desperately needs rest.
As Harry mentioned during our last meeting, this week focuses on recharging our bodies. We'll still commit to four training sessions this week but we really need to rest. Next week is our toughest (and last) training week.
So I'm going to rest and relax. I'm going to hit it hard tomorrow but, tonight, I'll just relax (although I'd rather be sparring).

End of Fight Club Week 5. Recap...
So the verdicts in. After 5 glorious weeks of fight club, I have lost 16 pounds. Wow! I'm getting fast, feeling no pain in my stomach and running like a muthaf@ck@r! I have been punched in the head repeatedly by Harry, Raf, Leith, Holly, Bridget and Kevin. What's the one thing they say to me? Get those hands up and move around. Ha! But, boy oh boy, do I love sparring.
The retreat was a lot of fun. The workout, feast and studio recording session was very exciting. I'm working on a short video that I'll post later this week. Here are some photos from the retreat.

Thursday's class started with Holly and Bridget telling me what's up....

- 12lbs
- 2 1/2 inches off my waist
- 1.5% body fat.
I'm proud of myself. Here's looking forward to fighting rounds.
